According to EN 81-21:

New regulations require that all trap doors or openings, that are accessible by a key, giving access to the pit or car roof must be fitted with an audible and/or visual warning device to indicate that the area is safe or unsafe to enter. This device must be seen or heard from the landing.

Fixation with magnet on the back of the housing or with mounting plate.
